Supanova Report (Better late than never!)
Had a pretty good weekend at the first GoldCoast Supanova, mostly spent catching up with friends. The venue was very spacious and air conditioned, looking forward to future events there. On the downside, lining up to get in on Saturday was annoying (it took us an hour to get into the venue, even though we got our wristbands the day before). Other than that, it was a good con.
On Saturday I went as Lucifer from Angel Sanctuary with my gf
Sunday, I went as a random scientist from Half Life with headcrab. 'Lamaar' played the Final Fantasy 10 theme from her belly, as well as Risk Astley's 'Never Gonna Give you Up', and was particular hit with a young boy child with a blowup bat *No pun intended.Latest project I'm working on:
I'm aiming to finish my Gordon Freeman HEV Suit intime for the Brisnova convention for the end of the year.
I'm also trying out new mediums for making cosplay and testing these out on some upcoming projects.
An exciting year with lots of things on the go!
